Greg said “the KJV is not only a better translation but is actually God’s inerrant word … this is the core of the viewpoint” this is a false statement as to the conversation of the acurracy of the translation. Yes some teachers do believe that the KJV is as it were word for word what God had penned. This of course is false as we generally agree the bible was written in Hebrew and Greek with small sections of Aramaic. The real debate is what greek text was used to translate the New Testament into English, this is the core of the excellency of the KJV as it is translated into a poorer language being English. The only reason I wrote a comment is to remind you of your audience and as to the real influence you have in your comments whether they be in the pulpit, podcast etc. I believe the KJV is the best English translation of the bible but it pales in comparison to Greek or Hebrew and I would never suggest that it came directly from the hand of God.
