High School Youth Group: Grades 9-12
At Northview we are committed to reaching the next generation of students with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Youth ministry is a journey, not an event; it is marathon, not a sprint. It is about shepherding young people to walk deeper with Christ and building lasting relationships through community, worship, prayer, and fun!
High School Youth takes place on Thursday nights at 7:00pm. There are three distinct elements to our ministry:
- Campus LIVE Night (Usually First and Third Thursday of each month, 7:00-9:15)
Students and leaders meet at the church for a time of large group community in a fun, welcoming environment. Campus LIVE nights usually start with a group game and then move into a time of teaching and worship. Typical evenings also include a small group discussion time, food, and fellowship! - Core Group (Usually Second Thursday, 7:00-9:15)
Core Groups consist of 2 or 3 leaders and approximately 10 students of the same grade and gender. These nights provide a place for more intentional discipleship, practical teaching, one-on-one mentorship, and building deep relationships. - Community Group (Usually Fourth Thursday, 7:00-9:15)
Community Groups consist of medium-sized groups of around 30 students. They provide a place for discussion-based teaching and discipleship, service projects, and community-building events. These medium sized groups help a large youth group feel small and can help integrate newcomers and visitors into an immediate relational community. Community Groups are a great place for students to grow in leadership as they use their gifts to serve each other, pray for each other, and study with each other.

Bible Study – Tuesday Nights
Do you have a desire to grow deeper in your understanding of God’s Word and invest more into your relationship with Christ? Do you want to learn some Bible study skills and be held accountable in your personal Bible reading? Do you want to grow in friendship with other believers your age as you study the Bible together? Consider joining our Bible Study group this year!
We will be starting again in the fall! For Summer, we have ‘The Life of Pete’ bible study available. Click HERE to download, or email Haley to have one set aside at the info booth for you!

Student Discipleship Team
The Northview High School Youth Student Discipleship Team is a place where students want to really dig in and invest more into their youth community and personal growth. Discipleship team students invest by helping out at youth nights, participating in service projects, and using their gifts to serve their peers in new ways. It’s a place where students will be challenged to step out of their comfort zones, to lead by example, to grow in their faith, and to live with accountability.
The Discipleship Team will meet once a month on Sunday mornings (during second service – 10:30-12:30) and members are expected to be consistent attendees at all regular youth nights and events. Team members will also participate in at least one Bible Study series during the year and complete a book study together for personal growth. Between 2 Worlds podcast exists to inform and encourage parents of teenagers. We believe that teenagers live in the “inbetween” childhood and adulthood stage which is called adolescence. B2W podcasts desire to be relevant and content driven with information that is not only current but, practical giving parents hope fuelled by the gospel.
