This is from a daily podcast, (I highly recommend) opening eyes to the Truth of the Gospel, according to the Bible, not public trends & culture…. very refreshing!
On the forgiveness question–Are we supposed to forgive someone who has wronged us and is unrepentant? We often think that when we are forgiving someone, we are doing them a favour. I think we forget that, except in the case of divine forgiveness, the forgiver is the main beneficiary. You should forgive the unrepentant sinner for your sake. “A Poison Tree” written by William Blake gets at this beautifully.
